U.S. Couples Invited to Join Fertility Enhancement Nutraceutical Study

Today, more health care professionals are taking a closer look at the role that stress and immune system health may play in causing fertility issues —a role that, according to WebMD, may be a factor “in up to 30 percent of all infertility problems.”

One of these is Allen Morgan, MD, the director of the Shore Institute for Reproductive Medicine in New Jersey. “What we do know now,” Dr. Morgan has written, “is that, when stress-reduction techniques are employed, something happens in some women that allows them to get pregnant when they couldn’t get pregnant before.” A major cause of stress-related infertility, Dr. Morgan has also observed, may be increased levels in hormones such as cortisol, which stress can trigger.

Simply put, stress affects immune function, and immune function affects fertility. The body's resources are naturally prioritized to support immune function first. Fertility capacity, as a lesser priority, is negatively affected when the body is experiencing stresses of any kind, whether physical (due to illness), chemical or circumstantial.

Responding to these and similar findings, CortControl has developed Glutrasol FE (Fertility Enhancement), one of our Glutrasol™ family of patented, science-based nutraceuticals. Optimized to help balance immune system agents, Glutrasol FE aims to help improve the prospects for fertility in both women and men. Key to its effectiveness, CortControl believes, are three chemistries it employs that—as shown in numerous studies made over the last 35 years—have helped increase fertility rates in livestock by as much as 70-80% percent.

Building upon these studies, CortControl will soon begin conducting an observational beta study with humans. Specifically, we will:

  • Offer the first qualified 50 U.S.-based couples that apply full supplies of Glutrasol FE for a period of 90 days (USA couples will, however, be asked to pay $10 for postage and handling.)
  • Monitor the health of participants and the product’s impact on fertility
  • Require couples to fill out a basic health questionnaire each month

For couples experiencing fertility issues, participating in this study may be an ideal opportunity to find out if stress is a contributing factor and, if so, whether or not Glutrasol FE may help provide a solution.
